Are you open for stays yet?+
Not yet. Thornstone is in its pre-opening stage. Join the founding waitlist and we will contact you with our opening date and first available dates before we advertise more widely.
What vaccinations does my dog need?+
Please bring current vaccination and parasite-prevention records from your veterinarian. We will confirm the full list of required vaccines with you before your first stay.
What should I bring?+
Your dog's usual food, any medications in their original labelled packaging with written dosing instructions, and your vet records. A familiar blanket or toy is welcome.
Can you give my dog medication?+
Yes. Medication is given within our written policy and your veterinarian's instructions, and recorded at each dose. It is $5 per day.
When are drop-off and pick-up?+
Drop-off and pick-up are by appointment, so there is always someone ready to receive your dog and go over their notes with you.
Can two of my dogs stay together?+
Yes. Dogs from the same household can share a suite. The second dog sharing is $30 per night.
How much does boarding cost?+
Standard overnight boarding is $42 per night, a premium suite is $52, and day boarding is $24. These are our planning rates for the opening season.
Can I visit before booking?+
Yes — farm visits are by appointment only. Call (615) 598-2441 or email Admin@thornstonefarmstead.com to arrange one.
